Jaime is a co-founder of OUT Miami Foundation. He has served in the position of Executive Director since January 2015, where he directs the strategic vision of the organization, and leads the creation and management of the foundation's programming, fundraising, and operational initiatives, policies, and practices.
Prior to OUT Miami, Jaime was the President of Bucaro Consulting-- a boutique consulting firm specializing in creating winning development campaigns and events for social justice organizations throughout the globe.
Jaime brings 10+ years of nonprofit management experience to OUT Miami Foundation, through his diverse roles a Director of Development, Campaign Manager, Event Chair, Program Coordinator, Development Manager, Researcher, and a number of additional volunteer roles throughout the years. In addition to founding OUT Miami, he also founded the FSU Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Jaime was honored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2016 as the Joyce Gala Scholarship Recipient for his efforts to advance and diversify philanthropy in Miami.
Jaime holds a Masters in Public Administration degree, as well as a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Social Studies degree from Florida State University. He is passionate about youth leadership, international social justice, and peace movements.
